Közkincs Community Library is a feminist library in the heart of Budapest. It is a place for reading, thinking and building community. Our collection includes approximately 15 thousand books, the majority of which are in English, including a wide range of fiction, poetry, art, critical social sciences with a focus on race, class, gender and cats (including two gorgeous kitties who are present in person), as well as children’s books. We also have a wide variety of board games and children’s games for fun and relaxation. All are welcome! If you’d like to get to know us, visit us when we are open or come to one of our events!
Our library space is also available for community events, happenings, lectures, or other projects. Please contact us if you’d like to arrange an event!
We are continuously working to create a digital catalogue, so far we have around half of our books put into a spreadsheet! Find it here.
